We served as a Senior Lead Structural Engineer for the Delta III Launch Vehicle Program. We supported a multi-disciplined team of engineers in the design, development, and manufacturing of an upgrade to the Delta family of expendable launch vehicles for the commercial satellite industry.
We performed stress, linear and nonlinear buckling, dynamic, fatigue, and fracture analyses on multiple components associated with the Delta III Program, including pressure vessels, fuel tanks, skirts, equipment racks, and engine/rocket motor mounts.
We generated several reports supporting the design, analysis, and qualification testing of various launch vehicle systems and components.
