Our FEA experience covers both the stress analysis and dynamic analysis of flight hardware systems, including the high-strain rate deformations that occur during dynamic impacts. A dynamic analysis differs from a static analysis in two different areas. First, the dynamic loads applied to a system are applied as a function of time. Second, this time-varying load creates time-varying responses like displacements, accelerations, velocities, forces, and stresses.
